Tony Hawk’s first kick-flip since his femur broke
Yesterday, Tony Hawk shared the exciting news with his fans. He updated the fans through his Twitter account about the good news. Hawk broke his femur bone seven months ago while he was doing a McTwist- a 540-degree aerial rotation. The legendary skateboarder, who might have performed the move thousands of times, unfortunately, misjudged the landing that day and resulted in a broken femur.
I did my first kickflip today since breaking my femur 7 months ago.
It was difficult.
It was painful.
It was sloppy.
It was [possibly] payback for me harassing strangers to do the same.
But it was gratifying beyond words.

However, yesterday he made his first kick-flip after that accident. Hawk tweeted, “I did my first kickflip today since breaking my femur 7 months ago. It was difficult. “
A comeback is always special for everyone. Especially when a person loves doing something, it’s hard to keep them away from it, and Hawk loves skating. Indeed, it was gratifying for the skating icon to get back to the skateboarding moves.

Tony Hawk has an iron-will
Tony Hawk broke his femur in March this year. However, his enthusiasm and his iron will cannot put him away for too long from the skateboarding arena or even moving on with his general life. Just two weeks after that injury, Hawk was supposed to be attending the Oscars as a presenter. However, he decided to not attend the big event with crutches.

But as a fighter, he persisted and got to do what he wanted. He indeed attended the Oscars without crutches. However, he used a stick to carry with him that helped him with his mobility. He further confessed in a show that he was more nervous about his physical aspect than the lines.
