Legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk began his professional skateboarding very early in his life. He dominated the skateboarding world since he was 16. He won 73 titles and was the NSA world champion for 12 consecutive years.

Not only that, but he also invented many moves like the ollie-to-tail, the gymnast plant, the frontside 540-rodeo flip, and the Saran wrap. In 2019, the skateboarding legend was seen passing on his legacy.

Legend would not have feared, but the father did

Every father has a fear of their offspring getting hurt. In 2019, the skateboarding superstar gave his daughter Kadence Hawk her first skateboarding lesson. Tony shared the clip of his daughter overcoming her fear on Instagram and Twitter. He wrote in the caption“My daughter overcoming her fear in real time (wait for it). I might have been more nervous than she was. #vaderdrop”

However, it wasn’t the first time Papa Hawk was seen with Kadence skating. Earlier in 2012, he posted a picture, where he was skateboarding with her in his hands. At the time, he was highly criticized as she wasn’t wearing any safety gear.

Tony has four children from his four marriages, and he loves them with his whole heart. His eldest child was born in 1992, whereas his youngest child was born in 2008. Hawk had a child from his first marriage, two children from his second marriage, and a child from his third marriage.

The eldest son, Riley Hawk, 29, walked in his father’s steps and became a pro-skater. On the other hand, the other children found different interests. The first son from his second marriage, Spencer Hawk, 23, is emerging as a musician. The second son, Keegan Hawk, 21, is into photography and videography, which we can see on his Instagram.

The only daughter of Tony, Kadence Hawk, 14, was born to his third wife, Lhotse Merriam. She loves skating not as a profession but as a way to enjoy time with his father. She is still very young to decide on her career, but she is definitely very talented. Tony makes a wonderful father and supports his children with love in whatever they indulge in.
