At an age where the simple act of pouring milk without spilling might seem challenging for some, Tony Hawk is performing 360-degree turns on a half pipe, all the while holding a glass full of milk. In this stunning display of skills from August 2020, Hawk skates from one end of the half pipe to the other with the glass in his hand. Upon reaching the other end, he performs a complex turn, but not a drop of milk is spilled in the process. He ends the video with his own punchline, “Got McTwist”.

The trick is Hawk’s own version of the 2020 Got Milk Challenge on TikTok. Incidentally, the challenge was first started by Olympic swimmer Katie Ledecky, who swam the length of a pool with a glass of chocolate milk on her head, without spilling a drop.

This stunt is in line with Hawk’s skating style, as he is famous for his inventive tips and tricks. The Birdman has been revered in the skating community for inventing his trick-based style of vert skateboarding, which involves a transition from a horizontal to a vertical surface. His innovation has earned him Gold in the X Games vert competition both in the year 1995 and 1997.
