A major setback prevented what may have been a disastrous blow to the boxing legend’s current state of health. Hailing from a humble background and getting into a spiral of financial crisis at a very young age, Mike Tyson, the boxing legend’s childhood, was full of challenges. Also, he was a victim of bullying. Instead of yielding to it, he resorted to fighting, ultimately developing his style. Fair to say, Tyson didn’t have a normal childhood filled with fun and laughter.

The boxing legend was arrested nearly 38 times on charges of criminal activity before the age of 13 due to his indulgence in street fights. While he had missed a happy phase at a young age, he doesn’t miss a chance to relive in spirit. In a recent video at the HotBox podcast studio, Mike Tyson is seen with the skateboarding legend, Tony Hawk. Tyson, just as a high-spirited child would do, at the very sight of a skateboard, hopped on it.
Mike Tyson saved himself from a severe fall
Sporting a black leather jacket, the majestic Mike hopped on the skateboard with an energetic jump. Just when it seemed that Tyson made a perfect landing, he slipped from the back of the board. As he jerked, he tried to catch hold of things his hands reached.
Alas! There was nothing steady. Also, Tony and the podcast host tried to lend a helping hand, too. Thankfully, he dropped himself on the sofa not very far behind and set himself straight. “I’m ok, baby,” he said as he settled on the sofa and noticed the camera rolling.
Recently, the former world heavyweight champion revealed that he has been suffering from Sciatica. It is a nerve-impacting condition that causes pain in the lower back and leg which is the path along the sciatic nerve. The condition typically affects people who have had back injuries. Also, those aged between 30 and 50 years old.
Mike Tyson: Is he unable to walk?
The former youngest undisputed heavyweight champion was spotted using a wheelchair and using a walking stick for support at the Miami International Airport several months ago. However, he opened up on his condition only recently. In an interview, the reporter asked about a picture of him sitting in a wheelchair. He revealed that he’s got Sciatica and “when it flares up, I can’t even talk.”

Furthermore, he clarified that he has no other health problems. “Thank God it’s the only health problem I have. I’m splendid now.” When asked about his life and family, he said everything was good and they felt blessed to have what they had.
