The roster for this year’s biggest Rodeo event, WCRA Rodeo Carolina, has been announced. With over 200 athletes participating, the event is expected to cause a stir in the rodeo world.

The roster for Rodeo Carolina Has Been Announced

It indeed is an important day for all the rodeo enthusiasts. Fans have eagerly anticipated the year’s biggest event. The announcement of dates has only increased the anticipation.

Known as the richest rodeo in east of the Mississippi, the event is scheduled to take place from October 6th to 8th. As per reports, the event will take place at the majestic Tyron International. Rodeo Carolina is a first in several aspects, being the first Western rodeo at Tryon International and a groundbreaking event in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Rodeo Carolina is a historic event that will showcase some of the best athletes in Western sports, including show jumping and dressage. The triple crown of rodeo (TCR) event has almost 207 athletes competing, making the fight for the top spot even more intense. But the exciting part about the event is yet to unfold.

A $1 million prize awaits any athlete or group of athletes who achieve first place in any three consecutive WCRA Major Rodeos. Amidst all the competition, all eyes are on one man: saddle bronc rider Isaac Diaz.

Battle for Triple Crown of Rodeo

Having won two WCRA TCR events, Diaz is the chief contender for the $1 million bonus. Should he win, he would be crowned the second champion of the coveted WCRA Triple Crown of Rodeo. Besides Diaz, the championship has quite a few famous names added to the list.

The top ones include Cheyenne Wimberly, Shad Mayfield, Trisyn Kalawaia, Mason Clements, Martha Angelone, Riley Kittle, Jackie Crawford, Jace Helton, and Kelsie Domer. Each of these athletes represents barrel racing, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, bareback riding, team roping header, team roping heeling, and breakaway roping disciplines, respectively.

Besides WCRA TCR bonus contenders, the event will witness multiple disciplines like Bull Riding, Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, and Team Roping Header. Amidst all the excitement, the event, the first of its kind, is set to have more than 200 athletes, multiple disciplines, and 39 competitors from the Carolinas. All this makes it a treat for the fans.
