In 2018, Edward Mills had stunned the entire climbing community with his heroic achievement. The 9-year-old star from Scotland scaled the ‘Old Man of Hoy’, one of the most dangerous climbs in the United Kingdom. However, Mills’s motive behind the climb was not ordinary.

In the same year, his mother, Bekki, lost a five-year-long battle against breast cancer. Mill’s mother always supported her son’s love for the sport and encouraged him to move forward. Hence, to pay her a tribute, the young climber decided to summit the Old Man of Hoy. With this, Mills also became the youngest climber in the world to complete the dangerous climb.
