After 15 days, 28 varieties of sports, and more than 350 events, the 2024 Paris Olympics is in its last stretch. It was an event filled with athletes giving everything they had in their tank for one place on that podium. This made it an extraordinary competition to watch.

When and where is the Paris Olympics Closing Ceremony Taking Place?

The closing ceremony of the Olympics will take place at the Stade De France situated in Paris. It is a huge stadium which can hold more than 80,000 people in it. It will take place at night in Paris, starting at 9 pm CEST and 3 pm ET.

The main attraction of the closing ceremony will be a parade of flags from every country. It will be led by an athlete who was appointed as the flag bearer by them. This is usually the one who has performed extraordinarily well for the country in these games. Katie Ledecky and Nick Mead have been chosen to lead Team USA.

Other than that, there will be numerous performances in the celebration. The organizers said that the stadium would be transformed into a large concert hall. The performances are said to consist of dancers, circus artists, acrobats, singers, and many more.

Innovative, surprising and brilliant, these ceremonies already promise to be very powerful, just like “Records”, which has everything it takes to make a mark on the history of Closing Ceremonies.” Records will be the theme of the event as specified by Thomas Jolly, the artistic director.

The Paris Olympics closing ceremony can be seen in the USA on NBC and Peacock. It will be hosted by Mike Tirico and Jimmy Fallon.
