Since 2011, every year November 28 symbolizes the Giving Tuesday occasion. In Chicago, the non-profit Mary-Arrchie Theater company initiated it for the first time, with a noble cause. However, the drive for charity soon became a known occasion around the corner. The noble cause directs the donations from different individuals or organizations from their yearly expenditures in winter holidays. So the occasion day comes on the first Tuesday just after Thanksgiving day in the USA.
This time, in more than 80 countries, the occasion was celebrated. The sporting realm of the USA also played their bit on the occasion. Here are a few names who came forward on the big day.
