When Ice hockey athletes appear for live interviews or videos, they mostly talk about the sport, their performance, and more. However, the Calgary Flames sat for a hilarious Q&A session, during which the players answered questions on fast food. They were asked, “Are boneless chicken wings just chicken nuggets? Is the proper way to eat pizza with a knife and fork?” One unusual question about milk and french fries left the team confused.

In December 2022, Sportsnet asked Calgary Flames players like Andrew Mangiapane, Noah Hanifin, Nazem Kadri, Jacob Markstrom, Dillion Dube, and others about their opinion of french fries dipped in milkshakes. While everyone had a different reaction, most players had one answer.

In the video, shared on Sportsnet’s Facebook page, When the host asked Flames left wing Andrew Mangiapane, “fries are better when you dip them in milkshake.”,  he said, “disagree.” Defenceman Noah Hamilton was up next. However, he didn’t hesitate to answer her question. “Not true. They just don’t mix. I like having fries with milkshakes but not in the milkshake”, Hamilton told the host.

Nazem Kadri, one of the Calgary Flames’ center players, said he would “rather have ketchup.” However, goalie Jacob Markstrom’s reaction cracked up the host. After hearing the question, Markstrom stared blankly for a moment. He then answered with a resounding, “No!” The Sportsnet host also asked him a follow-up question. “Have you ever done that?” she asked. The goalie said, “No. I’m not planning on (doing it).”

Unlike Markstrom, Andrew Mangiapane had fries dipped in milkshake and didn’t like it. However, the star of their most recent game, Dillion Dube, agreed that fries dipped in milkshake taste better. “I’ll agree,” said Dube.

Not the not unusual question involving milk

Another question involving milk was, “Always put the milk in before the cereal.” This time Dube didn’t agree with the statement. “Definitely, (the) other way around,” said the Flames center. Mangiapane also echoed the same sentiment. “Cereal first, then milk,” said the left winger.
