Ottawa Senators are on a victory cruise, as they have successfully sailed past their two top NHL rivals. In their recent match against the Montreal Canadiens, the Senators registered a 5–0 win, leaving everyone stunned. While in the previous game, they had beaten the Toronto Maple Leafs by a massive 6–2 margin.

With two back-to-back massive rivalry wins, the Senator fans have gone absolutely got crazy. They have poured their happiness into their favorite team’s recent Facebook post, and you would want to see a few of them.

It’s a day of celebration for Senators fans!

In a Facebook post on the official Ottawa Senators page, most of the fans were delighted to see their team beat the “habs” (Montreal Canadiens) and wrote,

“GO SENS GO! Always love it when they beat the Habs”

“Beat the leaf and the habs in 24 hours…that the best hockey week end ever”

The Senators’ goaltender, Anton Forsberg had an incredible game against the Canadians as he made a total of 28 saves on the goalpost, helping the team win with a clean sheet. The fans could not stop admiring his performance and commented,

“Well done!!You boys played a perfect game and a shout out for Forsberg ! Woot woot”

“Best game so far! What a solid game for Sens! Shut out for Forsberg! Go Sens Go!”

“The Sens played a solid game tonight, especially in the second of back-to-back games. Forsberg had a great game (with the assistance of his goalposts 😉) and Giroux continues to play well and contribute valuable leadership. Well done boys.”

And some others hoped that the Senators continue this winning streak in future games as well. They wrote,

While Forsberg was the star of the game, right winger Claude Giroux scored two goals and one assist, to help his team produce a glorious win. The Ottawa Senators will again face the Montreal Canadiens for their next match, on February 1st at the Bell Center.
