Boston Bruins are unstoppable this year going with their impressive run at the NHL games. After eight consecutive wins this season, the team has added another feather to their cap by winning the ninth game today against Buffalo Sabres. Moreover, the match that ended in a rocking 7–1 for the Bruins has also made them the fastest team ever to reach 100 points in 61 games. 

The amazing run for the Boston Bruins is apparently the best thing for their fans. After the team set the new NHL record today, fans are convinced that this year’s Stanley Cup is surely coming home!

Star moments at the Boston Bruins vs Buffalo Sabres match

Boston Bruins were on fire in their Thursday match. They used the third period of the game to score five goals lowering the chances for the Sabres to win. At first, players Dimitry Orlov and David Pastrnak struck one goal each. Next, it was Jakub Lauko who hit fantastic second and third career goals. The champs received another adrenaline rush when Pavel Zacha registered the fifth goal for his team. 

Moreover, players Patrice Bergeron and Connor Clifton gave a perfect end to the match by scoring the sixth and seventh goals. Although, it was not all a cakewalk for the team. Bruins winger Brad Marchand missed the third period due to a lower-body injury. 

However, fans were thrilled with the match results. They took to the celebration on social media. A few hours ago, the official Facebook page of the Boston Bruins posted a picture of the players along with stating their newly achieve record that read,

A new NHL record.”

Fans were thrilled to react to it. A fan was mesmerized by the leadership skills of the Boston Bruins, and wrote, “From a lifelong Bruin fan … who used to live in Montreal… congrats! If only my hometown team of Winnipeg had half the leadership and heart I’d be happy! Bruins forever!”
