While the NHL is already concerned about their dwindling viewership, the news of the player brewed the anxiety even more. This incident took place in Michigan. Reportedly, a car collided with him when he was riding his bike. This news devastated the sports community, and they crowded in the comment section of the post to wish him good health.
Though, as per the reports, the Flames’ player is fine and returned home from the hospital, the fans left no chance to show their love and support toward him.

On their Twitter account, Flames shared a post making a statement about the incident. The post went, “At approximately 6:00 p.m. ET, Wednesday, February 8 in Detroit, MI, while riding a scooter on his way to dinner, Flames defenceman Rasmus Andersson was struck by a vehicle. Andersson was taken to local hospital for a full battery of tests before being released last night.”
As per the reports, the local people took him to the nearby hospital and after receiving quick aid, he went back home. Fortunately, he will be returning to the next game of the team. Addressing the same, the team also added to the post saying, “Andersson is doing well, and he will remain with the team. He is listed as day-to-day.” Lately, their general manager Brad Treliving stated, “He was going through a crosswalk“.

In addition to his words, he said, “The good news — and the most important thing — is that Ras is doing well.” Indeed, he was very lucky to overcome such a clash, as it could lead to any uncanny.
