Determined, he made one final play, inviting her to witness his performance and “rock the stage at Arrowhead.” Among the swirling rumors, one individual remained skeptical: Dave Portnoy. The owner of Barstool Sports didn’t hold back his opinion about Swift and Travis Kelce after the superstar singer’s appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs game to support her rumored new beau.

Dave Portnoy suggests an ideal match for Taylor Swift

During a podcast interview with FLAGRANT on YouTube, Dave wasted no time sharing his candid thoughts about Kelce. He quipped, “Sort of a doofus,” and proceeded to express his disapproval of Kelce’s style, saying, “I don’t like Travis Kelce’s style at all I think he’s a little bit cringy, the man had his own dating show; if you have a dating show, that’s a little cringy, so there you go he’s a little cornball to me, like his quote to Taylor, ‘I saw you rock MetLife, why don’t you come see me rock Arrowhead’ like lame.” Then, as the video went ahead, Dave was asked by Akaash Singh who he thinks was an ideal match for Taylor Swift.

To which, giving it some thought, Dave said, “Oh, Gyllenhaal,” referring to the movie star Jake Gyllenhaal whom Taylor Swift dated 13 years ago. Dave’s commentary didn’t stop there. He was jokingly labeled a “swiftie,” as he claimed, “I know them all,” referring to Taylor’s past relationships. This also wasn’t Dave Portnoy’s first comment on Swift and Kelce.

Portnoy is not convinced

Just days ago, the rumored romance became the talk of the town when the singer was spotted in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium, passionately supporting Kelce and his team alongside his mom. Fans were captivated by every move of the pair, from attending the game together to leaving side by side.

They were even seen driving around Kansas City in Kelce’s sleek black vintage convertible, further fueling the speculation. Dave Portnoy, however, wasn’t entirely convinced. He shared a picture of the couple in the car, writing, “I feel like we’re getting trolled with the convertible.” Dave remained skeptical about the duo’s relationship, suggesting that they might be teasing their fans.
