Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs have become the latest talk in the entertainment world. The mere sight of these two iconic figures together sent “Swifties” worldwide into a frenzy. The rumors surrounding their romance gained even more credibility when Swift was spotted during a Kansas City Chiefs game. However, amidst the excitement, there was one notable ‘Swiftie’ who was skeptical, and that was Barstool Sports’ President Dave Portnoy.

He couldn’t help but doubt the budding romance. Portnoy’s outspoken commentary in his latest interview, where he discussed the couple’s budding romance, left no room for ambiguity about his disapproval of Travis Kelce as Taylor Swift’s ideal match. He, however, pointed out a celebrity who fans know “all too well” and suggested that he would choose him as the ideal candidate.

Recently, Portnoy appeared on a YouTube podcast with FLAGRANT, and he didn’t mince words when discussing Swift’s romantic prospects. When asked about his ideal match for the pop sensation, Portnoy took a moment to reflect before dropping a bombshell saying, “Oh, Gyllenhaal.

He also said “That’s the relationship” he would want for Swift. His choice in picking Jake Gyllenhaal was surprising as the movie star and Taylor Swift had a relationship together already over a decade ago. Portnoy asserted that he would like to see Taylor with Gyllenhaal, a blast from the past that many fans didn’t expect.

How the end of her relationship gave her immense success

Way back in 2011, these old flames stirred the internet, and the relationship gave Taylor Swift a chartbuster that is still a hit today. Her brief yet impactful union with Gyllenhaal is rumored to have inspired Taylor Swift’s chart-topping hit, “All Too Well,” a song that is still discussed amongst fans today with hints dropped subtly in her lyrics about her past.
