One fan commented, “The teaser is like that of LG7 it’s the same f***ing style it breaks my brain. Gaga for real at the Olympics?!?!🖤🖤” Another wrote, “LADY GAGA??!!! WE WON 😭😭😭🕯️🕯️🕯️” Further, “Dance In The Shadows” is an unreleased song from Gaga’s upcoming album, prompting one fan to muse, “dance in the shadow of Paris?” And one sneaky fan even noticed, “Thomas Jolly follows Gaga on Instagram 😮”

Jolly followed not just Lady Gaga but also Nicola Formichetti on Instagram,, adding fuel to the speculation. For those who need a refresher, Formichetti is the fashion wizard behind Gaga’s most iconic looks, including the unforgettable “meat dress.” Another clue fueling speculation was the lineup of creatives involved in the show, as shared by Thomas Jolly on his Instagram story.

The team included Kevin Germanier on costumes, Kevin Vives as choreographer (notably known for his work with Lady Gaga on the second Dom Pérignon commercial), Antoine Travert handling lighting, Clément Mirguet on music, Emmanuelle Favre on set design, Sam Zr on artistic collaboration, and others. Fans were quick to notice the familiar names, especially Vives, linking the production to the Paris Olympics. With Vives and Formichetti’s creative flair and Gaga’s legendary performances, fans are eagerly anticipating what could be a jaw-dropping, unforgettable show. As fans eagerly await an official update, rumors swirl about another music icon possibly performing at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony.

If Lady Gaga is closing the Paris Olympics ceremony, who’s opening the show?

Céline Dion, the “Queen of Power Ballads,” has expressed her determination to return to performing despite her diagnosis of Stiff Person Syndrome. Rumors are swirling that her comeback could coincide with the 2024 Paris Olympics, with reports from The Sun suggesting she’s been offered a slot. Hoda Kotb spilled some details on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, recalling a moment from their June interview where she probed Dion about her future plans.
“Her manager was off-camera, and I was like, ‘So what’s going on? When are you performing again?’ And she goes, ‘Can I tell her?'” Kotb mimicked Dion’s accent and continued, “And her manager goes, ‘No!’ He screams, ‘No.’ I was like, there’s something.”
When asked about a potential Olympics performance, Kotb admitted she wasn’t certain but thought it would be “spectacular.” Her co-host, Savannah Guthrie, chimed in, “That would be amazing! Oh, I just got chills.” However, Andy Cohen expressed skepticism, highlighting challenges and suggesting that he didn’t see it happening.
He elaborated that while it would be incredible, his understanding was that it was beyond Céline Dion’s control physically. But Kotb countered, highlighting Dion’s improved medication regimen and hinting at possibilities, saying, “So you never know. I mean, if she knows she’s performing at a certain hour, let’s do it.” With Céline Dion potentially opening the show and Lady Gaga adding an iconic final touch to the Paris Olympics, could these speculations actually come true?
