The photographer has been working on curating a series of layered photographs from different Olympic events. And so far, things have turned out to be magical. Vivas has now released a series of photographs from events like gymnastics, equestrian, track and field, fencing, and more. 

The uniqueness lies in the fact that the photographs consist of many pictures combined together as layers. Praising Vivas’ work, an X user named Joe Pompliano took to social media to highlight the photographer. The post read, “Photographer Hector Vivas has been creating a series at this year’s Olympics called “Layers of the Games.” The idea is to capture multiple moments from a single Olympic event and then combine them into one image. Hailing from Mexico City, the Getty Images photographer has covered almost every top-of-the-list sporting event.
