Is Hector Vivas the GOAT of sports photography, or do you have another favorite?

If pictures can speak a thousand words, then Hector Vivas is surely a wordsmith with the camera. Vivas has stunned 9.5 million sporting fans. Vivas, who is a registered photographer at Getty, has gone viral with his stunning takes of the Paris Olympics. The photographer has been working on curating a series of layered photographs from different Olympic events. And so far, things have turned out to be magical. Vivas has now released a series of photographs from events like gymnastics, equestrian, track and field, fencing, and more.

The uniqueness lies in the fact that the photographs consist of many pictures combined together as layers. Praising Vivas’ work, an X user named Joe Pompliano took to social media to highlight the photographer. The post read, “Photographer Hector Vivas has been creating a series at this year’s Olympics called “Layers of the Games.” The idea is to capture multiple moments from a single Olympic event and then combine them into one image. The results are incredible. (Great work @hvivas24!)”
