The marshal artist had also gone through a similar incident.?In Jackie Chan’s autobiography “Never Grow Up”, he described a small incident that robbed him of his sleep and made him restless.

Jackie Chan lost confidence in his health after meeting his son

In a section of the book, Chan described his insecurity and fear of growing old. He once started thinking about his old age which freaked him out. He believed that over time, his effectiveness would decline. When he first met Jaycee Chan, his son,? after a long time, these insecurities developed.? He was shocked after realizing just how fast time changes. He stated that he had trouble sleeping the following evenings.

The overthinking pushed him further into thinking about his life after death. He started dwelling on the conditions of his death. “I imagined myself lying underground, eaten by bugs”?Chan added. This made him decide that he would want his body to be cremated.?

The extent of his nightmare went to imagining the death of his son. The legendary martial artist felt like it was the end of the world and was scared to his core. He tried to divert his mind but failed. In the end, Chan used his passion to disengage from his thoughts; he got up and started working out. The Hong Kong star wrote, “I jumped out of bed and started doing some exercises.” Chan kept himself in beast mode till those thoughts vanished.
