The IOC has faced rock bottom for two of its major decisions regarding the Paris Olympics recently. One is to organize the surfing event in Teahupo’o of French Polynesia. Another remains the enormous pricing of the event tickets. Both these soaring points created ripple effects on their own. However, this morning, the Olympic hosting committee embraced the IOC’s decision to continue with Teahupo’o as the Olympic surfing event venue. But the fiasco regarding prices is yet to be settled. Among these, IOC’s recent collaboration might give them relief.

IOC has joined hands with the revolutionary Kinomap app to give runners, rowers and cyclists a unique experience. It simulates real-time conditions for increased UI. The suggested collaboration would fit certain sports from the Olympic roster. Along with that, the IOC also made certain revelations.

Virtual experience of Olympics routes

As reported by the Olympics. Com, the end users can use the Kinomap app after connecting it to their treadmills, rowing facilities, or gym bikes. After a successful connection, the app would redirect the exact routes that are scheduled to be used in tandem with official tracks in rowing, cycling, or running. The app is potent enough to provide the conditions only suited to the actual Olympic events as well. So on that end, both the IOC and the Kinomap authority are hopeful about contributing to the virtual training of the athletes who might participate in the Olympics.

In an interview with the Olympics. Com, Phillippe Moity, CEO of Kinomap asserted the collaborative spirit that can be gained. “We are delighted to bring connected challenges in relation to the world’s biggest sporting event and to share this common ambition: to make sport accessible to everyone, and to promote physical activity, health and well-being on a global scale,” he claimed. To a big surprise, the state-of-the-art app facility will also showcase thousands of training videos from almost all the Olympics member countries. The IOC also announced other amusements to grapple the fandom at its best.

The amusements at the heart of Paris

The ticket price for the Paris Olympics has already raised several eyebrows. But if anyone wants to taste the “biggest show on earth” without burning their wallets, the IOC has an uncommon arrangement for them.

In a recent announcement, the IOC chose Trocadero Gardens, near the Eiffel Tower in Paris as the locus of the proposed Champions Park. From July 29 to August 10, 2024, this amusement park would hold the medal-winning athletes for the fans. During the set time, the fans would herald a chance to meet them. Moreover, they would have facilities to watch the last leg of each event virtually in that fan park. All these amenities wouldn’t cost them a dime.
