In Collaboration With $17.58 Million Dollar Giant American Country Icon Dolly Parton Becomes the Voice for Paris Olympics

Songs and anthems have been part of the sporting realm for many years now. They give a sense of excitement, provide motivation, and create a memorable experience. So, exactly a year into the start of the Olympics, the $17.58 million giant NBC released a special music video on it.

The Paris Olympics 2024 will be broadcasted all over the world. In the United States, NBC? and Peacock have the rights to broadcast it. Interestingly, NBC’s Olympic music video is in collaboration with country icon Dolly Parton and is already making waves around the globe. The song is a part of Parton’s rock ‘n’ roll album, Rockstar.

Dolly Parton’s Paris Olympic 2024 music video

The “9 to 5” singer’s track is a collaboration for the world’s biggest sports event. This track will be utilized for NBC’s campaign for wall-to-wall coverage of the 2024 Paris Olympics. The song is titled “We Are the Champions.” In the music video, she delivers a rendition of popular queen songs and iconic moments of past Olympics.

In the music video, one can see the country icon singing the track with a background of Paris featuring the Eiffel Tower with clips of previous Olympic games. The clip is nearly four-minute in which Patron is seen wearing gold, silver, and bronze dresses resembling the medals of the games. The clip also features many celebrated Olympic athletes like Simone Biles, Suni Lee, US women’s soccer team, Noah Lyles, and Katie Ledecky. This adds to the excitement and appreciation of the event.

In the song, as it proceeds, you can also see Dolly sitting in the stands with a crowd of people all singing together for the final chorus. Speaking on her latest Olympic track Dolly said, “I love the Olympics! I do my best to plan my schedule to watch as much of it as I possibly can“. She further said that “I laugh, I cry, I scream, there are no losers in the Olympics as they have all spent a lifetime preparing but I celebrate with the ones that go away with the gold, silver, and bronze medals“. The Olympics is next year and this song will create the much needed publicity for the channel.

Paris Olympics 2024

The next edition of the Olympics is set to be held in Paris, France next year. The event will start on the 26th of July and will continue till the 11th of August. The events will be held in Paris and other regional cities like Lille and Marseille. Interestingly, the event will also be held at Tahiti in the South Pacific for surfing events. There are ?45,000 volunteers to assist in the games. There will be 329 medal events in 32 different sports over the course of the games.

In total, 10 million tickets are made available for the Olympics 2024. The events are organized around historic places, which will be a feast for history students and sports enthusiasts. Nonetheless, the marathons will lead to Versailles, and the equestrian events will be held on the grounds of the royal palace. The Place de la Concorde will stage the Olympic debut of breakdancing. The historic Colombes Stadium will once again host an event after the 1924 Paris Olympics.
