The race for the $1M Bahrain International Trophy started with a welcome ceremony for Sir Alex Ferguson. He was fated to be there as his home-bred filly won the race in a remarkable way.

The next stop was to the Far East, where the Mile Championship took place in Japan. Namur’s last-to-first run brought a dramatic victory for the Harbinger. This was the 4-year-old filly’s eighth attempt for the win, and finally, the Kyoto Racecourse yielded to her ambitions. Magic Time stayed true to its name despite the major handicap at the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes. Shooting out of the second farthest gate at Caulfield, the horse astounded even his jockey, Michael Dee, with its speed.

At the Clasico Derby Nacional held in Peru, Poseidon imposed a strong presence. Edwin Talaverano’s brilliant guidance put the colt firmly at the forefront, which ultimately resulted in a resounding victory. The Guineas-winning filly Molly Bloom soared to the top of the New Zealand winner’s list with her latest win. This is only half the list, and there are more to come.

Lucky Sweynesse snapped back to its former days of glory after Sunday’s G2 BOCHK Private Banking Jockey Club Sprint win at Sha Tin. In a field of 2-year-olds, the showy gray horse took the lead at the very last minute after chasing the leaders for the better part of the race.
