Wayne Gretzky bought the classic Steinway 340 HT powerboat in September 2020. The 34-feet wooden cruisier is built by Coeur Custom Boats. It is exclusively built with sapele mahogany, with stainless steel exterior accents, a white vinyl interior, and a modern hull shape reminiscent of contemporary bowriders.

Moreover, the interior too has a magnificent touch of royalty. In an interview with Robb Report, Gretzky revealed that the interior was his wife Janet’s call. The classic all-white setup was completely her creative input. He stated:

“She’s the creative one in the family; the only thing I asked for was to have a Canadian flag at the back.”

Moreover, for a smooth experience, the boat also contains two fridges with icemakers, marble countertops, a cedar-lined hanging locker, and an electric stern bimini. Previously, when Gretzky and Janet bought Steinway in September, they closed up their Lake Coeur d’Alene vacation home, two days later. He told Robb Report in an interview this year:

“We literally had a couple of days enjoying the boat before we left town. But we’re heading back next week, the boat goes back in the water, and then we’ll have the entire summer on the lake to have fun,”

Although the boat has a speed of 50 mph top, for Gretzky it is not really a concern.
