Is Simone Biles the greatest gymnast of all time, or is there someone who can rival her?

After successfully re-attaining her Olympic crown, Simone Biles is getting for the victory lap. The Paris 2024 all-around champion will embark on the Gold Over America Tour alongside her gold-medalist teammates. What makes the 2024 edition of the celebratory tour even more memorable is the inclusion of the men’s gymnastics team.

However, with Stephen Nedoroscik’s absence from the lineup, the 27-year-old gymnastics legend may be ready to pick up the slack. In fact, The three-time Paris Olympic gold medalist’s display of skill on the 25-year-old’s signature apparatus flabbergasted the bronze medalist. Biles gave a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of training with the boys for Gold Over America.

The clip showed the pommel horse specialist’s teammates encouraging Simone Biles to try the apparatus. However, it turned into just another opportunity for the gymnastics GOAT to showcase her natural talent. Despite never learning the apparatus (as it’s not part of women’s gymnastics), Biles nailed the 360-degree rotations, leading Nedoroscik to ask “@simonebiles pommel horse specialist 2028???” on his Instagram story.

The Clark Kent of the Pommel Horse, Nedoroscik, spent years mastering the apparatus and was the only specialist from Team USA for Paris. His dedication paid off, as he stepped up when the team needed him most, becoming the only male gymnast from the USA to win an individual Olympic medal. Despite his achievement, Simone Biles effortlessly impressed both Nedoroscik and his entire team.

However, the seven-time Olympic gymnasts didn’t just impress but also inspired Nedoroscik. The Worcester, Massachusetts asked his Dancing With the Stars partner Rylee Arnold to get back in the gym with him. “@ryleearnoldı we gotta go back in the gym, you got competition,” Stephen Nedoroscik told the pro dancer, playfully indicating Biles may steal their thunder during the tour.

Why Stephen Nedoroscik won’t join Simone Biles for Gold Over America

Although the 2023 Pan American Games gold medalist initially joined the Gold Over America Tour, he later withdrew. Following his departure, the Paris Olympics star announced he would be joining the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars. The tour, featuring Simone Biles and her teammates, will run concurrently with DWTS Season 33. “ONE MORE WEEK!” the double Olympic bronze medalist wrote on his story in anticipation.

However, just because the pommel horse icon won’t be part of the tour doesn’t mean he isn’t in touch with friends and teammates. Fred Richard, Brody Malone, Ian Gunther, and others visited the studio where Nedoroscik was training with Arnold. Everyone shared glimpses of the session on their Instagram stories, and they didn’t shy away from teasing Nedoroscik.

You’re going on Dancing with the Stars, don’t embarrass yourselves.” read one caption. So while Stephen Nedoroscik and his teammates will certainly miss one another, they’re happy to be embarking on their respective endeavors. So don’t be surprised if Simone Biles continues to impress the boys on their own apparatuses.
