Simone Biles has finally gotten some time off from her busy schedule. After going through a rigorous training regime after her Tokyo debacle, Biles made the Paris Olympics her bird’s eye. Reaping rich benefits from her impeccable hunger for success, the gymnastics G.O.A.T. completed her redemption, winning 3 more Olympic gold medals at the French capital. However, despite the Olympics action coming to a close, Biles quickly moved on to her next venture. 

With great pomp and show started the second edition of the Gold Over America Tour. Showcasing their immense talents, a bunch of world-class gymnasts, including Simone Biles, started their journey throughout America, enthralling the fans. And as the show gained pace, Biles soon became the center of attention. This made it even tougher for the gymnastics GOAT to take time out for herself. However, after the latest Gold Over America Tour show, the queen of US gymnastics finally found some time to rest. And luckily, she also had her husband, Jonathan Owens, in the middle of an NFL break. 

Simone Biles enjoys time off with Jonathan Owens

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens have been living a long-distance relationship ever since they tied the knot. However, having an immensely close bond with each other, both the stars never miss an opportunity to meet each other. Likewise, when Owens got a little break from his NFL schedule, he came down to spend some quality time with her beloved wife. As the Gold Over America stopped by Biles’ hometown in Houston, the Chicago Bears safety accompanied Biles to a romantic time out at a restaurant. 

Prior to her show in Austin, Biles uploaded an image on her Instagram depicting an empty restaurant. Captioning the post, “Austin, Texas,” Biles further updated her fans about her little playdate. A further image showed Biles and Owens walking together, holding each other’s hands. The video was probably shot by one of Biles’ teammates while the duo strolled around shopping in the city. Biles did not miss the opportunity to acknowledge Owens’ efforts. Captioning the image, the 7x Olympic gold medalist wrote on her Instagram, “when hubby comes on tour.” Now, this was not all the fun that Biles and Owens are having at the moment. 

After conquering the gymnastics realm, Biles is looking to extend her expertise to other sports as well. In one of the recently uploaded Instagram stories by Jonathan Owens, a picture of a dart firmly placed on the middle of the board was visible. Captioning the post, Owens heaped praise on Biles as he wrote, “When you and ya lady the dart champs.” The US gymnastics queen too seemed equally excited at her latest achievement, as she wrote, “Send em home mad” on her Instagram story. Now, while it is evident that Biles and Owens are making the most of their well-earned breaks, other participants of the Gold Over America Tour are also not missing out on their leisure time. 

Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, and more enjoy time off from gymnastics 

Jade Carey almost became a villain after her poor show in the prelims at the French capital. However, conquering her ill health, Carey brought out the champion in her as she aided Team USA to win the gold medal. While still enjoying her glorious run, Carey got herself occupied with the Gold Over America Tour. And after some back-to-back action, she has finally managed to get some breathing space. As per her latest Instagram stories, Carey is spending time in self-care and trying out new outfits and skin care products to pamper and rejuvenate herself before the last lap of the tour resumes.

For Ian Gunther, a few days of rest mean pure leisure in his sweet home. Oozing out immense pleasure, Gunther uploaded a picture of a cozy corner of his home with the caption, “Finally home for a few days.” As for Yul Moldauer, the US men’s gymnast decided to go clubbing with his friends in order to let go of all the stress that has been building up since the Olympics. Lastly, as per Jordan Chiles’ Instagram story, she wanted to calm her disturbed and stressed-out mind by going on a long trip. As a matter of fact, the past months have been quite tough for Jordan Chiles. Her troubles started as soon as she won the Olympic bronze medal in the women’s floor final after an inquiry from Cecile Landi. Following the decision to crown Chiles as the third-place winner, the Romanian team appealed against the judgment to the Court of Arbitration. Shockingly enough, the CAS ruled in favor of Romania, asking Chiles to return her bronze medal. They announced the original winner, Ana Barbosu, as the reinstated third-place winner of the women’s floor category. 

Such a setback hampered Chiles’ mental health significantly. She immediately went for a social media detox before being courted back into the glitz and glamour of the Gold Over America Tour by her BFF, Simone Biles. While her Olympic bronze fiasco is still ongoing, the recent road trip surely provided her with some mental strength. Chiles posted yet another story where she became emotional after catching a glimpse of herself on a ‘Jordan Chiles Lucky Charms’ cereal box in a supermarket. Thus, with all the gymnasts enjoying some fun time at the moment, it won’t be long before they jump back into their usual routine of being the champions they are and enthralling the fans with their world-class moves.
