The 2024 US Gymnastics Winter Cup is seeing the paths of several elite gymnasts join together. The American fans will get to marvel at the trinity of three all-around Olympic gold medalists Simone Biles, Sunisa Lee, and Gabby Douglas. However, Jade Carey will also be clashing with this trio and competing as a fellow Olympic gold medalist.

Jade Carey has been maintaining a fine balance between her collegiate career and her elite gymnastics career. Despite being immersed in her staunch representation of Oregon State, she has been keeping up with her elite routine to face the biggest American stars. Interestingly, a new social media update hyped up her appearance in 2024’s first upcoming elite contest.

Jade Carey recently added a new story to her Instagram wherein she shared a story from her leotard sponsor, GK Elite. The story was amping the audience about her upcoming showdown at the Winter Cup. It carried the caption, “Who’s excited for @jadecarey to make her 2024 Elite debut??”

Jade Carey has kept herself active right from the beginning of the year as an Oregon State Beaver. However, she ensured to dive into her elite routines and worked with her coaches to take care of both fronts. Interestingly, her father Brian Carey, who is also a longtime coach of the 23-year-old has also joined the Oregon State staff to help her. While Jade Carey was holding her balance steady, she is now branching out and recently entered her first all-around matchup against UCLA.

Speaking about the experience to Corvallis Gazette-Times, she said, “It felt great to be back out there on the floor. Today felt just like a normal day again. It felt kind of like the old me getting to do the all-around.”  The young gymnast is keen on representing both her country as well as her prestigious university. In fact, according to an old social media post by Jade Carey she wrote, “I am excited to share that I will be remaining at Oregon State while pursuing my dreams of the 2024 Olympics.”
