The Paris Olympics were undoubtedly the highlight for all sports fans across the globe. At the French capital, gymnastics connoisseurs were treated to some of the most spectacular high-flying action. However, even with the 33rd Games now concluded, fans shouldn’t be feeling the blues. Instead, newer adventures beckon! The Gold Over America Tour is about to hit the road after three long years, and a stacked roster promises a lot to look forward to. However, some faces will be dearly missed, and the absence of Suni Lee from the G.O.A.T. will be one of the biggest disappointments.

While Suni didn’t manage to defend her individual AA Olympic title in the City of Love, she still bagged a team gold along with Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles. Considering how she made her professional comeback after being diagnosed with a rare kidney disease last year, fans were eager to see what new aces Lee pulled out of her sleeves. And she didn’t leave them hanging.
Securing three medals at last month’s Games, Suni Lee proved that she’s capable of going toe-to-toe with the best gymnasts from around the world. Naturally, the world wanted Lee to keep going with the 2024 Gold Over America Tour. However, it looks like the Tigers gymnast is more interested in expanding her gaze beyond her known horizon and keeping competing on hold for the time being.
Lee missed the inaugural edition of the pop-style gymnastics event three years ago as well. At that time, she took time off from performing after bringing the USA a gold in Tokyo, filling in the shoes of Simone Biles with gusto. After her gold medal-winning performance, Lee prepared herself for a season of Dancing With The Stars and didn’t join her buddies to travel across the country. And this year, it looks like the 2024 Olympic medalist Stephen Nedoroscik is taking a page from Lee’s book and will be making an appearance in the DWTS. But what does Lee have on the table to keep her away from experiencing the G.O.A.T. party yet again?

From the looks of things, Suni Lee might be in the middle of moving houses from Minnesota to NYC. Before bidding adieu to the place where she spent most of her life, Lee had to visit the Minnesota State Fair one last time to make sure the memories didn’t fade away too soon. After her stellar run in Paris, Lee was spotted at the fair with her friends, where the group hit every food stall on the ground and even shared their snacks with cops. It looked like a blast as the Olympian and her pals soaked in everything the fair had to offer. Soon after relocating to the new city, Lee was also spotted at the New York Fashion Week, making Hollywood stars like Olivia Wilde go ga-ga with her stylish presence.
