The Accor Arena is buzzing with gymnastics greatness as Simone Biles and Suni Lee hit the floor in a dazzling display of talent and fashion at the Paris Olympics All-Around finals. While Simone Biles and Suni Lee are both making history as Team USA’s Olympic All-Around Champions, their leotards are a world apart—unlike the color-coordinated outfits from countries like Italy’s Alice D’Amato and Manila Esposito in blue, Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade, and Flavia Saraiva in yellow. So, what’s the story behind the contrasting styles of the USA’s All-Arounders?
Simone Biles is channeling her inner ice queen in a deep blue leotard from GK Elite, covered in rhinestones that sparkle like stars. It’s like she’s walking in a winter wonderland, bringing that cool, calm, and collected vibe to the arena as she chases her 6th Olympic gold and 9th Olympic medal. On the flip side, Suni Lee is heating things up in a striking red leotard from the same brand that’s as fiery as her routines. Her classic red lip is the cherry on top, making her look like she’s ready to turn up the temperature.
Laurie Hernandez, who’s giving us the lowdown on NBC, explains why: “For individual event finals, each gymnast technically gets to pick out the leotard they want to wear.” The former gymnast Laurie continued, “So you’ll see even through both Suni and Simone are representing Team USA tonight, they’ll be wearing different colored leotards.”

Team USA’s Paris Olympics uniforms are crafted by GK Elite, a brand that’s been our go-to for gymnastics gear since 1989. With Team USA’s leotards designed by GK Elite, there’s no doubt both athletes are shining, but they’re doing it in their own signature styles. And similar to their style, their historic finish at the Women’s All-Around Finals.
Simone Biles and Suni Lee’s gold and bronze finishes dazzled not just the gymnastics floor but also the Paris Olympics podium!
Simone Biles started with her signature vault, the Biles II (Yurchenko double pike), soaring to a stunning 15.766 with impeccable form. She followed up on Uneven Bars with a routine that included a Weiler half to Maloney and a stuck double double dismount, scoring 13.733. On the Balance Beam, Simone nailed a switch leap mount, a flawless triple wolf turn, and a mostly excellent routine, despite a few minor wobbles, earning 14.566. She capped her day with a floor exercise that included a triple double and a full-twisting double layout, despite a few minor steps and a toe possibly out of bounds, landing a score of 15.066 and cementing her gold medal.

Meanwhile, Suni Lee fought back hard as well, giving it her all. She kicked things off with a Yurchenko double full vault, mostly clean but with a bit of a crooked landing, scoring 13.933. Her Uneven Bars routine was a highlight reel of Nabieva to Bhardwaj and a nearly stuck full-in dismount, earning her 14.866. On the Balance Beam, Suni showed off a triple wolf turn and strong loso loso series, though with some balance checks, finishing with 14.000. On Floor Exercise, she needed a score above 13.534 to surpass Alice D’Amato and narrowly missed with a 13.666, despite sticking a full-twisting double layout.
In the end, Team USA owned the podium: Simone Biles dazzled with Gold and a score of 59.131, Rebeca Andrade from Brazil snagged Silver with 57.932, and Suni Lee took Bronze with 56.465. The USA girls truly nailed it, making a fabulous splash in Paris with their gymnastics dominance and embodying a fierce blend of fire and ice.
