Simone Biles' GOAT necklace—Does anyone else even come close to her level of greatness in gymnastics?

Simone Biles has once again reminded the world why she truly is the G.O.A.T. Only this time, she didn’t think winning a shiny gold medal would be all the proof we needed! After flawlessly nailing her last apparatus for the night, the 27-year-old made a beeline for her things and pulled out a dainty locket. Her best friend Jordan Chiles watched as she put it on, and with a huge grin on her face, she yelled, “Yes, period!” What could have brought on such a reaction?

The 3x Olympian decided to embrace her status. She switched out the Olympic rings pendant she usually wears with a diamond goat pendant instead. We know what you’re thinking. Where can we get it? The gymnast reached out to Janet Heller Fine Jewelry for an Olympic ring necklace and a three-dimensional goat necklace encrusted with, wait for it, 546 diamonds. It also features a dainty beard along with silver textured horns. They gave her a shoutout on Instagram: “The G.O.A.T bringing home the GOLD wearing her GOAT necklace from @janethellerfinejewelry 🥰❤️ @simonebiles” What’s better than one G.O.A.T.? That’s right, two!

The jeweler further elaborated what the pendant really encapsulates. Apart from literally spelling out her legacy in the sport, it also highlights the dedication and perseverance the gymnast exudes. They wanted to do justice to her career. Seeing how Biles can’t keep showing her bejeweled necklace off, it’s safe to say that it’s a job well done! But did you know this is not the first time she’s made a reference to her legendary status?

At the U.S. Gymnastics Championships in 2021, the Olympian had a sparkling goat embellishment on her sparkly leotard. But what makes it even better is that she claimed yet another women’s all-around title at the event – her 7th. Fans first got to see this dazzling piece when she showed it off on X last month. Even her fans at the Bercy Arena leaned into this by holding up cutouts of Biles’ and a goat’s face as they cheered her on.

Simone Biles led the U.S. women’s gymnastics team to the top of the podium on July 30. Even though they successfully completed their redemption tour, the 27-year-old wasn’t done yet. Amidst a raucous cheer from the stands, she made her way back to the mat. Even though she hadn’t gotten this far at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Games. The gymnast seemed to be locked in this time around. After a flawless execution of the Biles II on vault, the Olympian found herself leading the pack into the next rotation. This is where it looked like her dream might soon fade away. But did she back down?

The gymnast picked herself and dominated throughout the 3rd and 4th rotation, effortlessly winning her 2nd all-around title after 8 long years. She has now joined the ranks of Laris Latynina and Věra Čáslavská as the third woman to win the individual all-around title twice. What makes this even more monumental is that Latynina’s second win happened to be 56 years ago! How crazy is that? The gymnasts’ family couldn’t be by her side in the Japanese capital. But 17 members of her family, including her husband Jonathan Owens watched as she shattered the glass ceiling at Bercy Arena.
