He then burst onto the collegiate landscape, where he joined the Oklahoma University and landed an array of accolades. These include being a 10x NCAA Champion and 18 All-America honors. But, he soon shifted his focus to global domination and went on to be a 2x bronze medalist in World Championships.

Moldaeur also represented the USA contingent at Tokyo, where he stood sixth in Floor Exercise, fifth with his Team, and slipped to the 17 and 22 spots in Pommel Horse and Rings, respectively. However, with time, his achievements started getting grander. And 2023 was surely a spectacular season for him. He started the year with a bang, by positioning himself as the 2023 Winter Cup all-around champion. He then rose to the occasion at the 2023 US Championships, bagging gold in parallel bars and a bronze in pommel horse.

Keeping up the winning streak this year, Moldauer stunned the audience in Louisville to win the 2024 Winter Cup all-around and floor exercise gold. Complementing this, he also grabbed a parallel bars silver. And finally, he stamped his ticket to the ongoing Olympic Trials at the 2024 Xfinity US Gymnastics Championships. Returning from Fort Worth as a parallel bars champion and a floor exercise silver medalist, Moldauer proved that he is amongst the finest talents in the country presently.
