“I am frustrated I can’t perform for you all,” Jordan Chiles penned down on her IG story a few days ago. In a further revelation, the gymnastics community came to know that the elite American gymnast isn’t going to feature on the Winter Cup edition in Kentucky. That poignant note sent the situation further south as Jordan Chiles’s bff, Simone Biles, had already stepped down from the contest. So, after those double whammies, the moment that had previously been filled with anticipation was seen losing the air. However, in the same post, the Tokyo Olympic medalist evoked curiosity by penning, “Can’t wait to show you what we have cookin’.” Keeping a tab on that, on Monday, the gymnast showed her love for the sport once again. 

In expressing her connection with the mat, this time Jordan Chiles brought the Winter Cup occasion. In the meantime, her almost 500k followers played the role of witnessing. 

Jordan Chiles keeps fangirling over the Winter Cup 

A tweaked shoulder forced Jordan Chiles to bow out from the Kentucky gymnastics razzmatazz. However, her moves to the US National Camp in Texas previously hinted at her fair chances of being on the Winter Cup’s podium. Taking a remembrance of that, the 22-year-old gymnast has been keeping revolving around the contest. As an episode of that, on Monday Jordan formed her IG story in the “Save the date” nature. It was the post shared by the USA Gymnastics on IG. But in her story, Jordan mindfully added the date and the reminder button. 

Eventually, in the absence of Jordan Chiles, Simone Biles, and Zoe Miller, the show comes to the point revolving around Suni Lee and Gabby Douglas. Both these Olympic luminaries are vying for their returning berth through this championship. That almost defines the importance of the Winter Cup in the USA gymnastics calendar. 

The three days of excellence on bars and beams 

The Winter Cup will last three days in the Kentucky International Convention Center this time. Even after Jordan Chiles and her ilks pulled out from the tussles, the roster still holds names like Trinity Thomas and Skye Blakely. In the men’s category, Yul Moldauer will appear to defend his last year’s crown from the occasion. On the other hand, Pan American Games spearheads Cameron Bock and Curran Phillips will eye for better practice, ultimately rushing for Paris Olympics tickets. Needless to say, they will have to face stiff competition from Olympian Shane Wiskus.
