A winner of 3 medals at the World Championships last year, Khoi Young is a gem to the USA gymnastics. His latest showcase in the Cottbus World Cup on the parallel bars earned him a good score in the qualifying round. The International Gymnastics FIG’s World Cup event was held in Cottbus, Germany. With an eye on the tussle for the 2024 Paris Olympics, the Cottbus edition ran from February 2nd to the 25th.

At the Cottbus, the American artistic gymnast – who featured in the bronze-winning team of the 2023 World Championships – showcases his prowess as he owned the parallel bars with his jaw-dropping moves. The video of the amazing feat was shared by Mag Gym on Instagram.

USA gymnastics representation lands sixth in the Cottbus World Cup

Representing the USA, Khoi Young scored a huge 14.133 at the Cottbus World Cup on the parallel bars at the FIG Cottbus World Cup. Qualifying for the finals, while the Stanford University undergraduate swung on the bars, his associate American delegations supported him by cheering for him every swing and stand.

An end dismount which he was a little displaced about, Khoi Young nevertheless secured a sixth place in the Cottbus edition. Khoi Young has proved his metal and is declared the World Cup finalist with his spectacular performance on the parallel bars. Aiming higher for more world titles to his bucket list, the 21-year-old USA gymnastics star has his eyes on the Paris Olympics.

Khoi Young’s 2024 Paris Olympics dream

Khoi Young’s aspiration is not just limited to the World Cup titles, but he eyes for the Paris Olympics. In an earlier interview, he had publicly expressed this desire to compete in the Olympics. He had said, “This is something that’s a personal drive for me in all parts of my life: If I’m gonna do something, I want to do it in the best way possible. If I’m gonna do it, I want to be the best at it.”
