She also won the women’s individual all-around gold and became the first Hmong-American Olympian. Since then, Sunisa Lee has made a place in the hearts of millions of gymnastics fans. Later in 2021, Lee joined the Auburn War Eagles and has since made her alma mater proud.

However, in late 2022, citing her kidney-related health issues, she decided to end her NCAA career abruptly. This health issue has persisted, and she even withdrew from participating at the 2023 World Championships and Pan American Games. And now, in the latest news from Suni, she has sent a 2-word message to her Auburn successor.

In a recent Instagram story, Sunisa Lee shared a heartfelt message. She reposted a reel by Charlotte Booth and penned “So Proud” with an emotional emoji. In the reel shared by Charlotte Booth, the video featured a delightful display featuring balloons representing various colleges on her list, including LSU, the Oklahoma Sooners, the Florida Gators, and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Among these, one mysterious black balloon hid her choice of college. The moment of revelation came as Booth popped the balloon to reveal that she picked Auburn. This exciting news overjoyed the crowd, and her friends hugged her in excitement. The video also featured a photo shoot of her in leotards, matching the theme of her new alma mater. She then also shared the exciting news with her fans with a wholesome message in her caption.

Booth is all set to become a “War Eagle” She announced in her reel, “I found my home at…AUBURN!🧡 I will be attending Auburn in 2025 on a full-ride athletic scholarship”. She continued writing about how the past few months were quite a journey and how she even visited each of the colleges to find her right fit. She then said, “Auburn has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. I know it is the right place for me. I will get to do what I love and have truly found a place I can call home”.

Charlotte Booth, a 4-star gymnast, will join the Auburn Tigers for the Class of 2025. The young gymnast Booth made waves at the Winter Cup, and she won a silver medal on bars. And that’s not all; she even finished eighth in all-around at the Winter Cup. Auburn is excited to welcome the young talent, knowing she has immense potential. She will join Norah Christian and Brynn Torry, along with many more impressive athletes lined up to attend the university. The exciting news even made the legendary Suni Lee happy.
