The 19-year-old gymnastic legend, whom all the fans rooted for, skipped her all-around final day for an unknown reason. ‘Inside Gymnastics’ took to their ‘X’ handle to post the shocking update. The post read, “British Gymnastics just announced that Alice Kinsella will be replacing Jessica Gadirova (GBR) in the AA final.”

Along similar lines, the Chinese team also announced an unforeseen update before the night kick-started. ‘Inside Gymnastics’ took to their ‘X’ handle to post this before the event started. The post read, “Morgane Osyssek-Reimer of France replaces Ou Yushan of China in the AA, and she performs solidly on UB!”

As the US women’s team pushed their Great Britain rivals to sixth place, gymnastic fans got infuriated at Jessica’s shaky vault. The gymnast barely made it to her feet, and many fans felt she needed to work on it. A tweet by a fan read, “Gadirova crashes her Cheng and after the injury to Roberson earlier, it was quite scary.”

Could Gadirova have suffered an injury similar to Joscelyn Roberson?

Roberson came up short on her Cheng vault, resulting in a painful fall. Her leg was gravely injured. Coach Laurent Landi carried her away for medical attention. Owing to this incident, the gymnast had to miss out on the gymnastics teams final at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships 2023.
