Simone Biles will not be able to make it to Jonathan Owens’ next NFL game! Biles, who is an ardent fan of her husband, has always taken time out from her busy schedule to cheer for Owens. It all started when he was signed with the Green Bay Packers. Biles always made sure to have jackets customized according to her husband’s team color. She also donned a special ‘Owens’ locket that showcases her love for the NFL stars. 

Now that Owens has signed a lucrative deal with the Chicago Bears, Biles is once again voicing her support for her husband. While she did attend the Bears’ last game, she will be missing from the upcoming clash where the Texans will host the Bears. Unable to transform into a Bears’ cheer girl, the US gymnastics queen revealed the reason why she would be absent from the game. 

Simone Biles gets ready for Gold Over America

Simone Biles will be participating in the Gold Over America tour. Conducted by Athleta, the tour will focus solely on champion gymnasts who will be performing enthralling routines to entertain the audiences to their core. And right at the helm of things will be Simone Biles. Thus, leading the pack as the GOAT of women’s gymnastics, Biles will have substantial responsibilities to cater to. 

Speaking about the reason why she won’t be able to attend Jonathan Owens’ next match, Biles cited her tour duties as a reason. In an exclusive interview with Jason Bristol from KHOU 11, Biles stated, “Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it. It’s one of our last days of tour rehearsals and I know we’re gonna probably do full dress rehearsal, so l have to be there for that.” Biles further stated that despite not being able to attend in person, she will definitely be watching the game live from her practice. 

This game is an important one for both Owens and Biles. As Biles is from Houston, her showing support for Chicago holds significant value to the NFL crowd. On the other hand, Owens will be looking to make his mark for his new team this season. And the match with the Texans will be a tough battle to fight. If Owens manages to hold his nerve and play well, it will do a world of good for the Bears’ latest signing.

Biles also smiled and pointed out that Owens is an understanding partner and will be considerate of her absence. However, in a recent interaction with the NFL fans, Biles hit back at the trolls after getting criticized for a wardrobe slip-up.

As a matter of fact, the gymnastics queen made the small mistake of wearing a Green Bay Packers jersey while Owens was newly signed under the Bears.

Taking to social media, the fans teed off on Biles and even demanded to be stripped off of all her Olympic medals. Replying to the haters, Simone Biles was seen in her classy and savage self. Taking to her Threads account, Biles wrote, “The way I be wanting to clap back soooo bad but I gotta stay as classy as possible.” Thus, it is evident that the US gymnastics champion can not only balance her perfectly on the beam, but can also glide through the most brutal trolls on the internet.
