It has been over four years since gymnastics GOAT Simone Biles created history with her performance. Although her range is over three different forms and each having at least two styles, Biles sure proves there is no one quite like her. She is also the only gymnast in history to perform some of the moves named after her. Leaving a mark with each performance? Yes, that sounds about right when the talks are about the iconic gymnast.

Given her career stats and incredible success, Biles continued to remain in the news over the two-year hiatus after her appearance at the 2020 Olympics. Recently, a video was posted on social media that showed an impressive attempt and landing by the gymnast.

During the 2019 US Gymnastics Championships, she became the first gymnast ever to attempt and finish a double backflip with two twists in the air. The feat just never gets old and the Instagram handle @gymnastics__champs made sure of it. A recent post from the account showed a video of Biles’s perfect attempt and landing after double-twisting, double dismount from the balance beam. The cinematic masterpiece of her flawless moves was posted with the caption, “The GOAT @simonebiles in slow motion,” followed by two fire emojis

Only Biles can bring out the best in her while failing just moments before the historic move. Earlier that day, Biles fell forward while attempting a double backflip with three twists in the air in the floor exercise. She went on to finish her successful landing on the floor and now the move is known as Biles II. However, the initial move named “Biles” was a double layout with a half twist and a blind landing.

Biles has many signature moves known to range over the floor, vault, and balance beam categories. No wonder she indulges in an intense workout routine which helps her perfect the all-rounder styles. From giving the career performance to being known for developing a new trick out of her gruesome injury, Biles has earned a reputation in the athletic community. After the perfect landing in international events and mastering her historic moves, the gymnast’s moves are now known by her name.
