Michael Bisping questions Simone
When Simone officially announced that she had withdrawn her name from the final individual all-around competition at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, reactions started to pour in. While condemning Simone for making such decisions, UFC legend Michael Bisping posted his response on Twitter.
Trying to understand her decision, Michael tweets, “I’m trying to understand why she pulled out.” Sharing her opinions, he says that if her decision came as a result because she was not “having a good day,” then that was “pretty weak.”
She’s incredible. What she has achieved is insane. I’m not hating. I’m trying to understand why she pulled out. If it’s because she wasn’t having a good day then that’s pretty weak. Not the lesson we teach our children. Finish the race! Try your best. https://t.co/b9cWua3AH9

Adding further, he says that this is not the lesson that, as he quotes, “we teach our children.” For Michael winning the race was more important. Regardless of the situation, one needs to try their best. However, his comments did not go well down with Simone fans. The UFC commentator met a lot of backlash for his remarks.
