American gymnast Jordan Chiles missed the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Regardless, she aims to be on the plane to Paris before the end of July next year. Her best friend and fellow gymnast Simone Biles is on course to add another world all-around title to her trophy cabinet. Chiles looks to take a leaf out of her bestie?s book, what with Biles bouncing back from the infamous “twisties” in some style.
Jordan Chiles? performance during the team selection for the Worlds was good enough to keep her in the fray. She looks to have cemented her spot on the US gymnastics team for the 2023 Pan American Games. They will take place in Santiago, Chile, near the end of the year. Most recently, Chiles welcomed fall with a few other icons at the NRG Stadium.
Welcoming the fall in Houston

The NRG Stadium is the home of the NFL side Houston Texans. Playing host to the Pittsburgh Steelers on that occasion, the Texans soundly beat the visitors 30-6. Jordan Chiles welcomed the change in seasons with a post comprising pictures from that game. Sporting a Formula 1 jacket, Chiles ran into a good number of icons while there. Chiles posted four pictures to her Instagram account from the game.

The gymnast was flanked by rappers Bun B, who is valued at over $4 million, and Maxo Dream. Rapper Le$ stood behind her in the same picture. In another, she stood beside the comedian and actor Druski. The remaining two pictures that were part of the post had Chiles standing by herself.

Gymnastics fans will be waiting for Chiles to make her comeback. She had a bit of a stumble on the uneven bars and the balance beam during the 2023 Xfinity Championships. Chiles did her best to make up for that with her floor routine. She failed to make the cut for the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Even so, she showed remarkable resilience in booking herself a spot in Santiago, Chile.

Now, with a seat on the plane to the City of Light in the balance, Jordan Chiles will have to show more of the same. It will be almost an uphill task, but Chiles clearly believes she has it in her. As she revealed to Olympics.com, she feels confident and will go all in to be in the reckoning for Paris 2024.

Jordan Chiles took a moment to celebrate the onset of fall. She was in the stadium as hosts Houston Texans beat the Pittsburgh Steelers. After missing out on the Worlds, she has made it a point to do everything necessary to be part of the roster for Paris 2024. Gymnastics aficionados will be rooting for the 22-year-old to get back into her stride.
