Jordan Chiles is surely moving on from her heartbreak in Paris. After completing a dazzling Gold Over America Tour, Chiles has hopped onto her next big break. In a recent development, Sports Illustrated announced that the 23-year-old has stepped in for their 2025 Swimsuit Issue. As per the updates, Chiles is currently in Boca Raton and is slated to pose for the upcoming May edition next year. Renowned photographer Ben Horton will be clicking the Olympic gold medalist, much to her delight. 

Expressing their elation having gotten a quality team of women to pose for them, SI editor-in-chief stated, “We are thrilled to launch our shoot season for the 2025 issue with an extraordinary lineup of powerful female athletes. This remarkable group, featuring Olympic medalists, world champions, and record holders, embodies the next generation of all-stars poised to transform the world of sports.” MJ Day further mentioned that athletes like Chiles have defied all the odds and stereotypes and have stood tall. 

Now, apart from being a vital feather in Chiles’ hat, this inclusion holds a lot more significance. Being a college athlete, the likes of Chiles and Olivia Dunne have been revolutionizing the financial market. Previously, the NCAA athletes were left to bite the dust. But ever since the revised NIL rules, things have changed drastically. And with the inclusion of the likes of Dunne and Chiles, the female college athletes too, are getting significant limelight. And Dunne was the first one to get the ball rolling. 

Already having a heavy social media presence, Olivia Dunne’s popularity skyrocketed further once she joined SI. She too was featured as a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model for the first time in 2023. And right away she stole the show. Her scintillating pictures in Puerto Rico impressed everybody and the edition soon became a hit courtesy of the LSU gymnastics. 

Looking at her immense success, Dunne was recalled to pose in front of Horton’s lens. Featuring a balletcore, cottagecore style with floral prints, feminine details, and pastel colors, Olivia Dunne was a hit yet again. Her pictures in Portugal were some of the biggest hits of the entire swimsuit edition. And now, with Jordan Chiles following her lead, it is a big positive sign for the NCAA athletes. Well, while Chiles is making a ripple much like Dunne, she will need a humongous effort to bridge the gap with the LSU star in one vital aspect.

Jordan Chiles is coming back to the NCAA. Soon after the Paris Olympics were over, Chiles announced her return to UCLA. And this would be a huge boost for the marketing quotient of the NCAA. Chiles will be bringing in her pedigree of being a two-time Olympian and also clinched the Olympic gold medal as part of Team USA this year. Thus, the hype around Chiles and UCLA is expected to be shooting through the roof at the moment. However, despite all the accolades, Chiles trails behind Olivia Dunne in terms of finance. 

Enjoying a gargantuan social media presence, Olivia Dunne has been ruling the NCAA realm in recent times. Having won the championship with LSU also contributed positively to the cause. Now, talking about NIL deals, Chiles is valued at approximately $318k. On the contrary, Dunne has a valuation of a whopping $4 million.

She also happens to be the second-highest-paid NCAA athlete only behind Shedeur Sanders. Thus, if Chiles has to play catch up, the Olympian will surely need a monumental effort.
