Go big or go home. Probably that was on Simone Biles’ mind when she asked her national male teammates to join her on the road for the Gold Over America Tour. Returning after three long years, the pop-styled gymnastics show created a lot of hype among the community in the past few days, and it has been scintillating so far. Naturally, the country’s most decorated gymnast of all time thinks her move to get Brody Malone & Co. on board might have been the perfect help that the guy needed after their successful Parisian campaign.

At the 2024 Olympic Games, Fred Richard, Brody Malone, and their buddies made history by bringing the USA its first medal in men’s gymnastics after 16 years. And yet, the stars remained mostly in the shadows compared to their female counterparts. But things are changing, and Biles couldn’t be happier.

On October 3, the 7x Olympic gold medalist gymnast sat down with NBC Washington to note how the landscape of men’s gymnastics is changing thanks to the Gold Over America Tour. “Bringing the guys on board was designed to show what men’s gymnastics has to offer,” Biles said about the thought process she had to get the men performing for the GOAT. However, the move wasn’t without its own set of skepticism, she revealed.

We took a risk by bringing the guys on board,” the NBC Washington article quotes Simone saying. And yet, the results have been nothing short of emphatic, she didn’t forget to note. “…the outcome has been absolutely amazing. And you have the kids in the crowd chanting ‘Ian! Ian!’ ‘Fredrick! Fredrick!’ and that’s just so cool,” smiled the Texan as she talked about how the fans have been incredibly well-receiving of watching the men stars in their natural habitat.

However, her national teammates aren’t the only ones who Biles loves to support. Talking about how her days have been since her incredible Olympic stint, Simone said, “I got to go to the U.S. Open (tennis tournament)…I got to go to my first WNBA game. It’s like supporting people who have supported me, which has been really exciting because usually we don’t have that time.” But her wish to cheer for her pals hasn’t stopped Biles from taking on her gymnastics responsibilities in any way.

From Jordan Chiles, and Joscelyn Roberson to Paul Juda, and Yul Moldauer, the names performing in the Gold Over America Tour are undoubtedly more than capable of enthralling fans with their prowess. Moreover, at all of the appearances that Biles has made so far, she has managed to entice fans with her enigmatic presence, even making her husband and NFL safety Jonathan Owens proud, along with helping the dreams of others to materialize using her popularity.
