The narrative unfolded at the Nobu Hotel, where guests gathered in a room adorned with impeccable arrangements while a dedicated hairstylist worked on Jonathan’s hairstyle for his wedding. However, what truly encapsulated the essence of the day was the caption accompanying the story, simply stating, “The vibes were crazy,” capturing the infectious energy and joyous atmosphere that permeated throughout the celebration. As for how the day was for Simone Biles, she told Vogue all about it.

“We had to get married ‘legally’ here in the U.S. since our wedding will be a destination wedding,” Biles explained. The gymnast and the Green Bay Packers safety got married in a courthouse in Houston, Texas, on April 22. That day, though, her fans had some strong opinions about her wedding-day look. Wearing a stunning white dress, she pulled her hair back into a ponytail. And her fans didn’t like it. But Biles didn’t just sit back and listen.

She wrote, “i think [haters] forget i live in HOUSTON TEXAS & I sweat those out!! soon as we stepped outside for pics.” As for her destination wedding in Cabo, she dealt with something else. In the interview with Vogue, the most decorated gymnast in history revealed, “I actually felt so sick the entire day, and when it was almost time to walk, my heart was beating out of my chest. I’ve never been so nervous before in my life.” But that feeling dissipated as soon as she walked down the aisle.
