2024 was a historic year for the LSU Tigers. This year, the program’s women’s gymnastics team bagged its first-ever NCAA title in Fort Worth, Texas, sealing the status of the roster members in Baton Rouge. Led by the likes of Haleigh Bryant and Olivia Dunne, the squad trounced every challenge thrown at them in the past year. Every step of the way, the fans made sure they backed their favorite stars with gusto, and this year too, they will have an enthusiastic cheerleader orchestrating the action in the stands.
Dunne announced her return for a final year with the Tigers earlier this year, making fans laud her for her decision. Luckily, she won’t be left alone by her family members on her last ride, and the folks over at LSU also believe the gymnast’s sibling can become a driving force for the tea’s 2024-25 campaign.

The recently released first season of The Money Game is bringing fans a lot of insights about the NIL (name, image, and likeliness) regulation of the NCAA, which helps collegiate athletes create a following of their own while also benefiting financially. In episode 3 of the Amazon show, the LSU queen jokes about how Julz has become a key factor in the Tigers’ success. “My sister sits in the same seat at every meet and screams her head off.” Olivia can be seen laughing as she talks about her sibling’s relentless support for the gymnasts.

The LSU Tigers boast some of the best statistics this past season. Thanks to the incredible performance by Bryant & Co. on a weekly basis, they were unstoppable, which culminated in the emphatic night at the Dickies Arena in April. She was also awarded with the SEC Gymnast of the Year and NCAA All-American honors. Bryant announced her return to the Baton Rouge campus soon after, and fans couldn’t stop talking about the possibility of Olivia Dunne following suit. When she did, it looked like Olivia was also keen on being part of the first-ever Tigers squad that defended its national title successfully. Taking a look at the 2024/25 roster of the LSU women’s gymnastics team, it’s understandable why such excitement has gripped the collegiate gymnastics community in the USA.
Amari Drayton, Aleah Finnegan, KJ Johnson, and more—the squad looks staked. Also remembering how Bryant blitzed into an elite club after achieving the prestigious “gym slam” this past season, we can only hope for things to be even more enticing next year. How do you think Julz will be able to complement the gymnasts’ efforts? Tell us below.
