In a recent post on X by a handle called ?Samtylerd? she posted an adorable video of her little girl dressed in her Halloween costume. The video opened with the adorable baby declaring, ?I am Simone Biles,? dressed in a cute black leotard embellished with gorgeous white rhinestones. She wrote in her caption of the post, “Last year Serena, this year Simone Biles????????”. The little gymnast also had her hair up in a cute bun and a gold medal adorned around her neck. The resemblance was uncanny and exactly matched Biles’ look on day 2 of the Xfinity National Championships, when she won her eighth national title.

The special leotard was an exclusive collaboration of Biles with the brand GK Elite, and the little girl?s mother showed the efforts and hard work she put into getting the outfit to match the original. What started as a plain black Leo was, with time, effort, hours of creative energy, and hundreds of rhinestones stuck on individually, transformed into a beautiful, dazzling replica of the gymnast’s leotard.?The adorable video and homage to the queen took fans back to the iconic moment of Biles this year.

The National Championships and Biles’ iconic leotards

At the 2023 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships, Simone Biles clinched history. Biles claimed not one but three epic accolades on all-around, balance beam, and floor exercise at the event. After an intense 2-day competition, Biles made history by winning her 8th national all-around title and becoming the first gymnast to ever do so. She was also the oldest woman to ever win the all-around at the age of 26.

On the first day, Biles wore a purple leotard embellished with crystals and a crisscross back under which were the words, ?But Still I Rise?. On the second day, she wore the leotard that the little gymnast recreated with the same words embroidered on her sleeves near the wrist.
