Simone Biles hardly needs an introduction. The 25-year-old gymnastics star had severe insecurity about her heights while growing up. However, with time, she soon realized she was not flawed. Embracing herself for the way she is, Biles has long back accepted that her 4’8″ height makes her no less than any of her tall friends. Happily accepting herself, the new aunt is often spotted taking a fun dig at their own height. Thus, being her usual self, the gymnastics maestro earlier today posted an Instagram video where she hilariously showed her height struggles.

Posting a short clip of herself on her Instagram story, Biles wrote, “short people probs.” As it turns out, the bride-to-be posted a short video clip where seen was sitting on an airplane seat. Hilarious as it may seem, the gymnastics GOAT struggled to touch her legs on the floor. Though she refrained from showing her face, fans got to catch glimpses of her mundane struggles.
What makes it more interesting is that her fiance, Jonathan Owens, is sitting comfortably beside her. As the destination for the couple remained undisclosed, spotting the couple in such a cute little moment was undeniably fun. The time when Biles used to lie about her height
The social pre-set judgments fell heavily on little Biles while she was growing up. There was a time when she was too overwhelmed by her short height. Burdened with insecurities in her book Courage to Soar, she talked about how she used to lie about her height. Talking about it, she revealed, “I liked to say I was four feet nine just so I could feel taller.”
But as she grew up, she started to appreciate herself. From the very beginning, she knew she was a “four-foot-eight-inch ball of non-stop energy.” Her height does not make her flawed, in fact, it makes her unique and helps her stand apart from the rest. With time, she embraced herself, and in today’s time, she remains the strongest advocate of body positivity.
