After hinting that she might take Owens’s name post wedding by wearing customized jeans with “Mrs Owens” engraved on it, Simone Biles shared updates about her dogs. The gymnastics champion shared an Instagram story indicating a change of names of her two French bulldogs Lilo and Rambo.
Biles adopted Lilo in 2018 and Rambo in 2020. While it might be of little concern to Lilo and Rambo, the two dogs have a dedicated Instagram page with the handle thebilesfrenchies that has more than 60,000 followers. The paw parents now have a new update of or their followers.
Simone Biles disclosed how her relationship with Jonathan Owens has impacted her dogs
On her Instagram story, Biles shared receipts of the Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming center. The receipts have the names, Lilo Owens and Rambo Owens written on them.
Biles captioned this Instagram story, “I guess the dogs are changing their last name too.” As Simone herself is almost ready to tie the knot with Jonathan Owens, paw parent Biles is now looking forward to acknowledge their dogs with her to-be husband’s last name.
The star gymnast likes to call Jonathan a professional dog walker. Paw parents know how scary it is to walk several dogs at the time. However, it didn’t scare Jonathan. While Lilo would stop, Rambo and Zeus (Jonathan’s pet) would walk. With a walking system in place, the lives of the three dogs are well coordinated and manageable.
Apart from their expensive wedding and extensive list of guests, the dogs, however, did not make it to the list!
Simone Biles will not have her dogs do their rounds at their wedding
We often come across videos of wedding couples who share a dog being assigned important duties at their wedding ceremony. If not duties, they often make special appearances. However, Biles gave her honest viewpoint that her dogs will not be a part of her wedding. Her reasoning was, “Because my dogs are a little bit out of control. “
While she assured that her dogs are well-behaved and had gone through the required training, she feared that they will present themselves in their worst behaviors.
