With the Paris Games just around the corner and the gymnastics trials set for June 27th, all eyes are on Team USA, particularly standout athlete Suni Lee. Despite battling kidney disease since last year, Lee’s determination knows no bounds as she strives for Paris glory. Her recent Instagram post unveiled a surprising partnership.

She shared a reel in which she was donning two distinct leotards—one in white and blue with the Team USA flag and Olympic symbol, and another in striking red. What caught everyone off guard was the brand behind these outfits. It was a paid collaboration with SKIMS, the brainchild of Kim Kardashian and Jens Grede, a company worth $4 billion.

In a reel, Suni expressed her pride in representing her country, emphasizing the significance of being part of Team USA while subtly hinting at her partnership with Skims. As she said, “To be on Team USA is everything to me I love competing with other athletes and for my country, my name is Sunil Lee my sport is gymnastics everybody’s wearing skims on Team USA

The caption further revealed, Everybody’s wearing @SKIMS on Team USA, not only highlights her rising prominence but also adds a unique dimension to her journey. However, Skims and Team USA have been partners for a while now, collaborating for the Tokyo and Beijing games as well. The brand has created new undies, pajamas, swimwear, and leisure fits for the Paris Games. Moreover, Kim Kardashian also gave a shout-out to Suni Lee through her Instagram stories, solidifying their support for the gymnastics star.

However, Suni Lee’s partnership with SKIMS isn’t the only significant collaboration. Other notable athletes, including Gabby Thomas, Fred Kerley, Jessica Long, Nick Mayhugh, and Caeleb Dressel, have also modeled for the brand. For Lee, this partnership marks a pivotal moment in her career, especially considering her triumphant return after battling two incurable kidney diseases.

Additionally, Lee has also joined Athleta after several years as a Nike athlete, and she has secured partnerships with Visa, United Airlines, Oreo, Core Power protein shakes, and more. Notably, a week back, she also joined the Kiss Nail Brand, further solidifying her status. However, as soon as this news was circulated on social media fans shared their positive opinions.

From “Queen” to “You’re Major“, Suni Lee’s dedicated fanbase!

Among the multitude of comments flooding Suni Lee’s social media platforms, several particularly heartfelt messages stood out, each expressing support and enthusiasm. One admirer exclaimed, “You’re a queeeeen 🫶,” Indeed, Suni Lee has lived up to this mark as she secured a gold medal in the All-Around event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, bringing pride to the USA when she was just 18 years old.

However, her true talent was visible at the age of 14 when she made it onto the U.S. Junior National Team. This was just the beginning of her remarkable journey. In 2018, Suni’s star shone even brighter as she clinched the gold medal at the National Championship, solidifying her reputation as the reigning queen of her sport.

Despite this setback, Suni’s determination remained steadfast, even though she had to cut short her NCAA gymnastics season at Auburn University and pause her training for the last six months. However, she returned with renewed hope- Paris 2024.
