A post on X by a handle called Nancy Armour highlighted, “Suni wasn’t planning to do a dismount during warmup and was just going to walk off the beam, but her foot slipped right at the end and she tumbled onto the mat.”

Despite the unexpected fall, both Suni and Jess, likely a teammate or coach, found the situation amusing and laughed it off. However, amid the competition, Suni Lee once again faced more challenges. However, her comeback faced setbacks as she encountered difficulties during her routine, resulting in two unexpected falls and a score of 11.800 on the uneven bars. Undeterred, she demonstrated resilience by executing a triple wolf turn on the balance beam, though not without some wobbling and a slight stumble.
