While gymnasts from every corner of the world are trying their best to make use of the opportunity at hand, Algerian artistic gymnast Kaylia Nemour has taken the community by storm with her incredible routine on the bars. In a recent post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Nemour’s breathtaking performance has sent ripples among gymnastics fans and even Suni Lee couldn’t turn a blind eye to it.

In her own post on X captioned “wow wow wow“, Lee shed light on her comrade’s sensational routine. Accompanied by an awestruck-looking emoji Suni’s post shares the original video clip by Spot Gym. “Bars qualifications Kaylia Nemour (ALG) 15.433 with a difficulty rating of 6.9“, reads the OG post, when translated from French.

The attached video clip shows Nemour pulling off some truly over-the-top maneuvers as she strived to punch her ticket to Paris like many of her international compatriots. Nemour is a silver medalist at last year’s World Championships, and she showed exactly why she’s a force to be reckoned with. It’s still a long road to the French capital, and Lee has a lot on her plate at the moment.

Lee faces a daunting challenge

Lee has been eyeing her return to the top levels after her kidney injury from last year, which put her on the sidelines for several months. Now, as Suni awaits her comeback she will have to face the likes of three-time Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas and Simone Biles for a spot in Team USA.
