Aged 40, Stephen is now survived by his wife and three children. The sad news left the entire nation in shock. Joining hands to mourn his demise, Olympics maestro Simone Biles, former first lady Michael Obama, and former NBC journalist Maria Shriver took to their social media handles.

As per the latest news, Stephen was pronounced dead before local time 11:30 am Tuesday. The primary investigation cites suicide to be the reason. Upon the release of the official statement by Allison, friends, and fans are left in shock and disbelief. Mourning his loss, prayers poured in numbers.

Shocked by the unfortunate turn of events, former first lady Michelle Obama took to her official Instagram handle to dedicate a post to her good friend Stephen. Paying tribute, Mrs. Obama wrote, “Stephen was an incredible force—someone who radiated kindness and positivity and made sure that people around him could feel it, too.”

Extending prayers to the family, Michelle also reached out to others who are “struggling and need someone to talk to.” Reminding them that they are never alone, the former first lady wrote, “you can call or text the suicide and crisis hotline by dialing 988.”

Stephen, who, alongside his wife, appeared on the famous dance reality show, “So You Think You Can Dance,” was known for his infectious smile and quirky sense of humor. 25-year-old Simone Biles joined others to pay her homage to the departed soul. Taking it to her Instagram story, the World Championships winner shared his picture and added a heart and dove emoji.

Stephen steadily rose to public fame when he joined “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” as a guest DJ in 2014. Since then, he has remained an inseparable part of the show. Becoming a people’s favorite, Stephen, in 2020, became the executive producer of the show.

Kenedy’s descendent, Maria Shriver, and former wife of Arnold Schwarzenegger, also extended her condolences.
