The wait is almost over. Stephen Nedoroscik has reached the LA studio for his dance rehearsal before the mega show, Dancing with the Stars. Although the Olympic medalist gymnast was the first star to join the show, it took several weeks for him to hit the ground running. Ultimately, on September 5, he was seen on camera with his dance partner, Rylee Arnold. Meanwhile, fans felt relieved, as there had been almost no updates about Nedoroscik’s chances of participating. Now that he is in full swing, a positive outcome seems likely, though certain boxes still need to be ticked beforehand.
One of the tasks was to decide on a name for Nedoroscik and Arnold’s team. However, a solution was eventually found. Today on Instagram, the 19-year-old co-dancer shared a clip showing her and Stephen busy deciding the name. They finally chose the name ‘Team Arnold Pommel,’ which reflects their specialties. Rylee contributed her last name, while Nedoroscik added his most iconic gymnastics routine—the pommel horse. Therefore, the final name stands as ‘Team Arnold Pommel.’ Meanwhile, an elated fan commented, “Best name ever.” But wait, does it not sound like Arnold Palmer?

The non-alcoholic beverage already stands to be a popular choice. Other than that, the combination of iced tea and lemonade was touted to be a favorite of Arnold Palmer, the legendary golfer. So both from those sides, Stephen Nedoroscik and his dancing partner, will step on the stage with some huge tags. And as the initial signs show, the duo might have chosen some hard moves as their opening dance performance for DWTS Season 33.
As the rumor goes, Nedoroscik and Rylee might open their dancing season with jive, a popular dance move from the late 1940s and 50s. Although, the Olympian’s bio in X says, “pommel horse is just dancing with your hands”, the dancing drill might not be easy for him. In that situation, Rylee Arnold could stand as his soulsaver.
On September 4, the production revealed Rylee’s identity as the co-dancer with Stephen Nedoroscik. Since then, the pommel horse standout has shown a lot of dependence on Arnold to learn one or two things about the dance. In fact, in one of the media conversations, Nedoroscik revealed that he did not need any tips on dancing. The reason was clear the next moment when the gymnast from Evo Athletics said, “She’s [Rylee Arnold] gonna give me all the dancing tips.” Rylee, standing beside him, nodded at his words. In the meantime, the naming occasion of the squad has already won over several fans.
