Another week, another round of applause for Team USA’s pommel horse specialist. Over the past few weeks, Stephen Nedoroscik has been wooing fans with his groovy skills on the dance floor, as well as astounding his dancing partner Rylee Arnold every time. With that, his ever-changing wardrobe has garnered a lot of attention from the community, and now, it seems like fans have found a new nickname for the Olympic medalist.
After an emphatic Disney Night showdown in the 5th week of Dancing With The Stars, Nedoroscik’s followers know just what to call him. The Penn State alum and Arnold moved in perfect sync to the tunes of A Star Is Born from the movie Hercules, and fans can’t get over how mesmerizing the performance was. Even the folks over at USAG couldn’t help but note their amazement at seeing one of their own being so comfortable away from the gymnastics apparatus. The official USA Gymnastics X account posted online urging fans to show their love to the team of Stephen and Rylee by voting for the duo.

On the other hand, fans were floored by the incredible steps that the Olympian dished out tonight. After their team performance, Stephen and Rylee joined hands with other performers to show up with their rendition of I Just Can’t Wait To Be King from The Lion King. There too, the ex-Nittany Lions gymnast showed his dancing skills with flamboyance and poise, and fans were enthralled yet again.
Hailing the gymnast, David Lartey wrote on X, “Stephen “Hercules” Nedoroscik is on a roll!“, and we think it’s only a matter of time before the name catches on! Over the years, Stephen’s uncanny resemblance to Clark Kent aka Superman has become like an inside joke for the gymnastics community. Coupled with his emphatic contribution to helping the USA win its first Olympic medal in men’s gymnastics in 16 years has made him one of the most popular gymnasts in the country, and this fan’s comment only seals his elite status by comparing the pommel horse guy with the mythological superhero.
Fans again laud Stephen Nedoroscik’s superpowers
Soon, more fans took to social media platforms to note how they don’t believe Nedoroscik’s talents know any limits. A few days ago, Stephen’s mother Cheryl noted how the former isn’t afraid to try out new things. “I think he wants to be…not a perfectionist, but he likes to dabble in all sorts of different activities, whether it be at school or using his athleticism to try dancing,” she said during a Spotify interview. Taking a cue from her words, Lois Elfman also said the gymnast’s bravery deserves applause as she commented, “Stephen Nedoroscik is delightfully fearless.”
Hayden thinks Nedoroscik might be using his gymnastics skills a bit too well and could be the one to bring dancing and the sport together. Stephen’s dancing partner Arnold also stated that she thought it was a brave decision from the Olympic medalist to try his hands at something new to bring more exposure to men’s gymnastics in general. “Stephen Nedoroscik may be a #DWTS cheat code,” said Hayden, reflecting a similar perspective as Rylee.

Jackie Green on the other hand believes Stephen’s first-ever spray tan would require him to get back to the NCAA scene once again. “I know Stephen Nedoroscik competed for Penn State, but now that he’s had his first spray tan he’s ready to compete for an SEC team…..sorry Stephen those are the rules,” wrote this fan, and we wouldn’t say no to watching him decimate the current collegiate roster either!
Chris also can’t get over how brilliant Bordy Malone’s teammate was at the latest DWTS show. Acknowledging his admiration of the gymnast, this fan commented, “it’s impossible for me to name a man that i love more than stephen nedoroscik.” What about you?
