Stephen Nedoroscik as Tom Holland's double on DWTS—Is this the crossover we never knew we needed?

We certainly didn’t imagine Stephen Nedoroscik’s hidden talent would captivate us like this! While we’re used to seeing the Penn State alum dominate the pommel horse, his Dancing With The Stars debut was just as thrilling. With his dance partner Rylee Arnold leading the way, Nedoroscik didn’t seem out of his element for a moment, and fans were ecstatic. However, they might have one more request for the Olympic gymnast now that he’s shown he’s ready to tackle new challenges.

After the conclusion of the 33rd Olympic Games, most of Stephen Nedoroscik’s national teammates were fully immersed in the Gold Over America Tour. While many fans anticipated that Nedoroscik would join them, it seemed he was more inclined to take a page out of Suni Lee’s book, stepping away briefly before returning to gymnastics. However, fans aren’t quite ready to let him go just yet!

Ever since the Olympic medalist stepped onto the stage for the DWTS, his popularity in the country has shot upwards. While his routines on the pommel horse apparatus have been a common sight for gymnastics fans, Nedoroscik’s new fanbase seems to have noticed something unique about his looks. Parallels between Nedoroscik and Hollywood actor Tom Holland were drawn in a recent Instagram story by Arnold, which has since been deleted. But fans were quick to share the video across social media. One of Rylee’s friends shared the brief clip on X, where the DWTS duo can be seen pulling each other’s legs.

Yesterday I looked at him after we watched Tom Holland’s Umbrella Lip Sync battle, and I go, ‘He is Tom Holland’,” Arnold says in the video, and Nedoroscik bursts into laughter claiming it was the first nice thing she told him all week. For the longest time, the 25-year-old has been considered to be a spitting image of Superman, and now, the community believes the Olympian also sports an uncanny resemblance with the Spiderman actor. And soon enough, more folks flocked in to affirm the suggestion.

Have an interesting take?

Taking note of Arnold’s comments, the original post also puts forth the request to Nedoroscik to share his iteration of Holland’s umbrella lip sync. “pls i need him to recreate Tom Holland’s umbrella lip sync battle so bad,” said the fan, and considering how Stephen also looked flattered by the comparison, we should believe he wouldn’t be too hesitant to cater to the fan’s urge either.

Bella also wants the same, but she claims she has a more personal reason for asking the gymnast for the same. Nedoroscik’s dancing debut has been incredible, and it’s no wonder that fans would love to see him explore other uncharted territories while he’s at it, and Bella is one of them. “for personal reasons i need to see Stephen Nedoroscik recreate Tom Holland’s umbrella lip sync battle performance,” they wrote on X last week.

Christine has more interesting things on her mind. She believes if Stephen indeed recreates Holland’s famous iteration of the iconic Dancing In The Rain, the Hollywood celebrity might even return the favor most remarkably. “So Tom Holland as Stephen Nedoroscik in the biopic, right?” ponders the community member, and honestly, now we’re also seriously debating among ourselves if this can ever pan out realistically.

Referring to how Spiderman: No Way Home saw all three actors who played the role of the friendly neighbor over the years, another fan claimed a similar situation is unfolding in front of our eyes right now. “I see we are all in agreement that there is some sort of spiderverse situation happening,” opined the user on Instagram Threads.

To establish their point further, the fan also noted that the similarity in the looks between Holland and Nedoroscik cannot be ignored even if we tried. “I’m not entirely convinced Stephen Nedoroscik is not Tom Holland,” the same user noted. Would you agree? Do you also want to see Nedoroscik using the opportunity to possibly make his Hollywood debut in the future? Tell us more!
